PBS membership is open to women and non binary individuals who meet the following qualifications: Current fermentation industry professionals who are actively employed and receiving a wage from a fermentation industry; Retired (with a minimum of 15 years) from a career in a fermentation industry; Women who are in the process of opening a production/manufacturing venue, hospitality venue or other fermentation-focused establishments; and women who are students currently enrolled in a fermentation industry focused/accredited program.

Each State is represented by a small committee of volunteers who help coordinate events for all members in that state.

These people are essential to Pink Boots Australia and we thank them for their contribution.

Who can join Pink Boots Australia?

If you are a woman, or non binary individual, fermentation professional (you earn a wage from fermentation in some way) and you live in Australia, you are eligible to join Pink Boots Australia. 

is there a cost to join Pink Boots Australia?

Yes. There is an annual $23 USD membership fee.

I do not earn a wage from fermentation, but I really love beer and wine! can I join Pink Boots?

Not at this time.  The Pink Boots Society was created to empower women fermentation professionals to advance their careers within their industry.

Do I have to be a brewer or a winemaker to join?

Not at all!  That's one of the great things about Pink Boots - is it open to all women in any fermentation industry.

How can I connect with other Pink Boots members?

Once your application is approved, you will be contacted by Pink Boots Australia. Membership grants you access to our Online Community Forum, where you can access information, network with fellow members and reach out to the Pink Boots community. You will also be kept up to date with news or events in your state and across the organisation.
